Our in-house compounding pharmacy means we can offer human and pet compounded medications as well as a wide variety of standard manufactured medications.Â
The fact that the compounding is done onsite means minimum wait times to fill Rx compounds.Â
Compounding allows flexibility for precise dosing, so you don’t have to try to figure out how to split doses. Â
Compounded medications can be made with considerations to allergies as well as form and flavor preferences.Â
The fact that Columbine Drug is a full pharmacy means that you do not have to go somewhere else to get you and your family’s pre-manufactured prescriptions and over the counter medications. Â

For existing proscriptions, let us know what pharmacy you are currently using and what prescriptions you want transferred, and we will call to get those prescriptions transferred to us.Â

A compounding pharmacy is a facility that combines individual ingredients to build custom prescription medications allowing doctors to prescribe exact dosing and create a more custom treatment plan with regards to medication and ingredient allergies, route and even flavor or dye free preferences. Â
For pet owners, this makes it much easier to get medications tailored to specific pet species.  For picky pets, many medications can also be manufactured in treat form or flavored with chicken or fish making administering medications much easier! Â
Â
Columbine Drug is a PCCA Certified Compounding Facility which means you can have confidence knowing that the compounded medications are safe and effective as their premanufactured counterparts. Â

There are many forms of compounds we can create for you. The form that is best for your treatment plan will take into consideration what condition is being treated, what drug is being administered, as well as patient preferences. Not all medications can be administered in all forms, so your doctor will determine what is the best treatment option for your plan.    Â

Commercially produced Testosterone is required to be stored between 68°F– 77°F .  It will crystalize below 68°F.    Our in-house compounded Testosterone in MCT Oil should not crystalize in cold temperatures.  Â
If this happens testosterone can be warmed back up by gently warming the vial, but this can take a few days.    Â
Please contact us via phone or RxLocal app to determine if it is safe to continue using and for more specific instructions on bringing it back to temperature.Â

Do NOT leave them in your car or bags left in the heat.Â
If you are concerned if they are still safe, please contact us at 970-663-4600.
